Game AI
This module covers all the major strands in modern computational intelligence with particular reference to applications in computer games. It uses models of neural networks, evolutionary algorithms and artificial immune systems to create partially intelligent opponents in computer games. The aim of the course is to make students aware of contemporary research in this field and to be confident that they can program any desired technique in the context of a game.
